Becoming a Friend of the World - Free Public Talk

Our world needs harmonious communities. Family, work, spiritual, neighborhood, cities and countries - community provides meaning, connection, and support. Creating harmonious communities is healthy for us, and part of the path to enlightenment.

In this talk, Gen Rinzin will share Ven. Geshe-la's guidance on how to view our community as a Bodhisattva community, how to create and live in a pure community. Everyone welcome!

May 20th, Abiding in Wisdom Retreat

Enjoy the beauty and quiet of Whidbey Island and take part in a full-day guided meditation retreat. All our anxieties and other problems come from grasping at things in a mistaken way. What we experience depends upon our mind. By meditating on this wisdom, we will solve our inner problems of unhappy feelings. Gen Rinzin will explain this subtle dependent-relationship between our mind and what we experience and guide meditations, giving time for Q&A.
